More About Hellerwork

Building on the work of Ida P. Rolf

Joseph Heller started his professional life as an aerospace engineer, working at Nasa’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. He integrated his extensive experience of structural stress with his study of Rolfing, another bodywork technique developed by Ida P. Rolf, Ph.D. The Hellerwork website states that “Hellerwork is a system of bodywork that combines structural alignment, body movement education, and verbal dialogue. It is designed to realign the body’s structure for overall health, improvement of posture, and reduction of physical and mental stress.”
